Dispersal Order - Reading Town Centre 15th and 16th August

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, four men have been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Reading. This incident took place at 0324hrs on 10th August in the graveyard of St Mary's Butt, Reading. There will be an increased police presence in the town centre on the 15th and 16th August and a dispersal order has been authorised to give officers extra powers to disperse people causing a disturbance.  

The dispersal powers will run from 2200hrs on Friday 15th August and will last for 48hrs. The dispersal area includes Reading Town Centre bound by the A329, Queens Road, Forbury Road, Vastern Road, Reading Train Stations Tracks & Caversham Road, Reading.
